Well, Jason Whitlock needed a vacation, and now it’s my turn.
Unlike Jason, however, I will return. As The Happenings put it so achingly hopefully in 1966…”See You in September.”

You and Patty enjoy yourselves, Jim.
Have a great vacation. When you come back, maybe you can save the Plaza from the jaws of Highwoods Properties. The revised plan for Polsinelli Shughart is no better than the first. They just put the giant monstrosity behind the little Balcony Building.
Cheers,
Laura
I agree with you completely, Laura. It looks so out of proportion and outright junky. If you want to speak at the Oct. 9 meeting, be sure to call the Plan Commission office in advance and tell them you wish to do so. The number is in the blue pages and on the city’s web site, kcmo.org. Jim
