A rockin’ New Year’s Eve at the jimmycsays household
January 1, 2011 by jimmycsays
We started early and went late, and just about blew the damn doors off the house.
Check it out.

Josie, poised for action

The hostess, calm and prepared

All we need is animation

A wanted man arrives for dinner

Actual, invited guests

The crowd mushrooms

The last supper, 2010

Thinking about raising hell

Waiting for Dick Clark

Turn out the lights; the party's over

Loved your New Year’s pictures, Jim.
Looked like a great way to spend the evening. Dinner and drinks with good friends. Nothing better.
Happy New Year!
Laura
Thanks, Laura. Wishing you a great 2011!
Can’t believe you actually posted those pics. Truly an epic party, Jim. Our thanks to you and lovely wife Patty for a memorable transition to 2011. Happy New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
after working the Blues game made it to the party with time to spare (20 minutes)..looks like a good time was had by all..seem to remember a party back in the 80’s where I had to be picked up at the train station and a party that went really late..let’s hope 11 is better than 10…
Gus — I remember well that train-station run…when the waiting area consisted of a bubble, the kind they enclose tennis courts with. That’s when Union Station looked like it was going, going….Thank God it was saved.
I have mixed feelings (like most everyone else, eh?) about 2010. One of the highlights was starting the blog. Thanks to you and all my other loyal readers for the support and the high-level discourse. I’m anxious to see what 2011 brings.
Jim
Thanks, Jim and Patty! I especially like the “wanted man.”
I think John Law is going to catch up with him pretty soon, Julie.
